Sacramento Bariatric Medical Associates was founded out of the necessity for a truly comprehensive care program following obesity surgery by Dr. Laura Machado.  Bariatric surgery is a lifelong commitment and the quality of the program you choose is the most important step in this process. 

Our program is a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence which is certified by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).  We have the resources to provide state of the art care and long term support.  Sacramento Bariatric was founded in 2003 and is a high volume program with excellent outcomes.  We are highly recommended by many respected local physicians, health plans, and most importantly our own patients.
